Lethal Poison - Samari - Silver Sword

Serenity knew Silver Sword wasn't impressed by the way she put her words, but she couldn't help herself, she was so curious. Serenity lowered her muzzle to the ground and nickered a friendly sorry to him.

Samari pushed Serenity away, 'Come, I'll tell.' He whispered very quietly in her ear.

Serenity looked up at Silver Sword once more before turning to Samari and nodding. She trotted to an enclosed place in the forest where nothing could be heard by other not included in the clearing. Serenity knelt down on her knees and the rest of her body followed, she yawned stiffly and waited for Samari.

Samari entered the clearing gracefully and stood in the middle looking at Serenity.

Serenity smiled peacefully at Samari and slowly made her way over to him, waiting for his explanation of Silver Sword's depression. She stopped about 2 meters away from him and firmly rubbed her head against his broad, muscular neck and gave a soft snort before pulling away and patiently waiting.

(sorry It took me ages to think of a reason)

Samari sighed, 'Before we shires came together, Silver Sword had a mate, she was the most beautiful shire to live so some say. Anyway, she was pregnate, carrying his foal, when a new shire came to his land. I think his name was Thor, Im not sure. Well, Thor slowly, one by one slaughtered his herd. Foals first, then young stallions. Then he murderd those mares of whom disliked him and did not follow his comands. The last souls Thor murderd was the newborn foal, Silver Swords and his mates, and Emalie, his mate.' Samari sighed again.
'After that Silver Sword left his land and spent the next year alone. After that he started a band, looking for shire's to join his wandering herd. One day I will help him kill the stallion that tore his life away and shredded it infront of his eyes.' Samari raised his head and arched his neck proudly.

Serenity's eyes slowly shadowed with sadness as she thought deeply about the scene of one horse, killing all but Silver Sword. She looked up at Samari, gently burying her face in Samari's mane, silently wishing she hadn't disturbed Silver Sword and agreed the hear the heart-breaking story. "How quickly did it all happen?" Serenity spat, not thinking about what she was saying, just focusing on the scene.

Samari hesitated, 'It happened slowly, yet fast enough to take him by suprise. Thor was fast and cunning, always escaping the scene before anyone was seen.' Samari's voice was etched with sadness.

Serenity thought for a while, pacing away from Samari, feeling a bit uncomfortable with how close she was to him and lingered her eyes onto his eyes. "Does Thor still roam these lands?" She asked, slowly, being very cautious about what she said, but her voice sounded shaky and afraid.

'Yes it is believed he does.' Samri's eyes flickered with anger.

"Should we be wary?" Serenity asked quickly, feeling a cold shiver slowly crawl down her spine, she almost jumped with fright as she heard the most noisy clap of thunder in her life. Serenity started to shiver as light sprinkles of rain gently swirled around her and neatly landed on her dark coat.

'We should, yet Silver Sword has unmatched sences. He can tell when thor is near. He would warn us if he knew.' Samari looked around.

Serenity nodded and started feeling a heavy fall of rain and walked away from Sam, scanning her eyes around the area for a large shelter.

Samari dissapeared into the forest and whickered.

Serenity looked Samari's way and wondering where he was going, she quietly trotted over to him and followed, snorting quietly as a rapid flow of rain dripped down onto her dark coat.

He whinnied at her to follow and cantered off through the trees, slow enough for her to catch up.

Serenity made her strides long, the cold wind whipping through her tail and brushing through her mane like a comb. The heavy rain drenching her coat as she followed after Sam. Catching up, she shortened her strides to his length and nuzzled his cheek softly, her warm breath gently blowing onto his face as they ran side by side to somewhere that was unknown to Serenity. She slowly moved closer to Sam and started to chatter, feeling the icy rain starting to soak through her coat.

Sam rested his warm head on her neck, and slowly shortened his strides, he stopped infront off a really thick forest cavelike thing that stayed dry.

Serenity walked inside the entrance and felt no more rain on her, apart from the wind that blew in, carrying a light sprinkle of rain along with it. She felt Samari's warm body against hers and laid her head on his neck, feeling his instant body heat thrush onto her, giving her instant warmth.

Sam's eyes drooped and closed, he breathed in the cool, clean air.

Serenity nickered quietly and slowly released her head from his warm neck, resting her hind hoof as Sam dozed.

Sam pressed his head gently to her chest.

Serenity sighed contently and hung her head over his, starting to groom his neck with her tongue as he relaxed. "Where is Diamond and Lethal Poison?" Serenity asked suddenly.

'They have probably found shelter in the trees.' Sam smiled.

Silver Sword let out a loud neigh and surged towards the horses in the clearing, 'FOLLOW ME!!' he screamed and tore off towards the mountains to the south. He looked around and found Sam and Serenity were not present. He screamed out in rage and frustration and whirled around, clashing into Lethal Poison who screamed out and they both ran to the forest screaming out for Sam.

Sams ears flickered and he caught a silent scream in the distance suddenly he cried out and trew his head up and looked at Serenity with wide eyes.

Serenity flinched at the loud noise because of her sensitive hearing, she snorted softly and took a small step away from Samari, nudging the air with her nose gently ahead of them. "Well.. err.. I think I should let you get back to your leader now.." Serenity snorted, taking another step back and nudged the air again, waited for Samari to walk away.
