Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider heard a neigh, but it was too faint to hear that it was Angel's. The thunder was roaring and Srider had never heard it so loud before. He reared up and neighed so loud that he hurt his own ear drums. He pawed the ground. He had had enough. This was when he started to worry about Angel, not only that she was alone, but that this was also an awful storm strider had not even experienced. He lay down and tried to get some rest.

Sunset galloped through the trees, wind rushing through her chocolate brown mane, she neighed in happiness, her mate Shadow close behind her

Re: Land of the Eagles
Angel heard the neigh faintly, she neighed loudly back, hoping it was loud enough, she stood still and waited.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider was away for almost for a week now, and the dark clouds were rolling in. The dingo's howled and the wobats climbed back into there homes. There was not a sound from the currawongs that he had usually heard every morning. There was something about this place. It was a deafening silence and it was uncomforting. He pawed the ground and reared up. He neighed loudly hoping for a reply. He didn't think anyone would reply for he was basically in the middle of no where. He started to head home when he heard a HUGE thunder clap. He decided to stay and the trees for the night and until the storm was over.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Angel felt extremely tired, but didn't let herself fall asleep, she nickered quietly and pawed the ground, she looked around.
Re: Land of the Eagles
It was early morning and Strider was still very tired. He was starting to worry about the herd greatly. "What if they got hurt and they couldn't neigh for help?!" Strider tried not to think of it and pressed on t find some good grass. He found some, but it was a long way from the herd. Far enough not to hear a cry for help...
Re: Land of the Eagles
Angel pawed the ground, she heard noises of other animals, she pricked her ears and nickered quietly and looked around.
Re: Land of the Eagles
It was getting dark and Strider had to find a place to sleep. There wasn't a shelter for miles. He was getting tired and there was no more light to keep no walking. He had to stop travelling. It was very dangerous to stay out in the open like this, especially when the animals start to come out. He lay down and closed his eyes pretending he was close to his herd.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider was galloping and galloping until he was out of stamina. He felt bad about leaving Angel and started to regret it. He thought of all the bad possibilities that could happen. He couldn't stand the thought of it. He was hoping that the neigh Angel would make will be loud enough...
Re: Land of the Eagles
'I have never shouted like that before. I'm sorry, that was a bad example of me." Strider stamped the ground and gave instructions to the lead mares.
'Ok, listen up. I am going to go and find some better grass for us to feed on. The other herds are going to be coming in a few weeks and I have to find some grass that has not been fed on.' Strider looked at Angel. 'If any animals attempt to attack the herd, neigh as loud as you have ever neighed before, I will come, I promise.' Strider galloped into the horizon and dissapeared.

Re: Land of the Eagles
Angel didn't move, she sighed, not knowing whether to trust the stallion or not.
Re: Land of the Eagles
'Its ok, they won't be bothering you again, trust me, but, they have never acted like this, ever...' Strider was confused as he was thinking about what it could be.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider introduced the herd to Angel. He didn't like the way the herd reacted. They were biting her and kicking her everywhere and trying to box her in. 'If you have so respect, GET OUT!' He was very mad at this stage and was neighing loudly at the mares. He watched them step back as they started to graze again. He looked towards Angel.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider was expecting Angel to come up behind him but he heard no sound. He turned around as he watched her. He trotted back to her and comforted her. "I'm sorry, I am not very good with mares. You can come to the herd with me." He hung his head in shame of insulting her before...
Re: Land of the Eagles
Angel stomped her hoove as she watched Strider canter to the herd. She sighed.
Re: Land of the Eagles
"Where does no where exactly mean?" Strider shook his head violently as he cantered back to the herd. It was meant to be a rhetorical question.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Angel held her head up high and stared at the stallion.
"I told you.. No where" she said.
"I told you.. No where" she said.
Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider nosed and prodded Angel to see if she would fit in his herd.
"Where have you come from?" He shook his head with desire as he looked at her willing to add her to his herd pleasingly.

Re: Land of the Eagles
Strider walked up to Angel and nosed her. He was prodding her everywhere to see if she was the right kind to be in his herd. He was twitching his ears all over the place as he was thinking if she should be included...
"Where did you come from?" He said firmly standing his ground.
