Strider's land of glory

Strider trotted in proudly lifting his knees above normal height. He galloped up a medium-sized hill and overlooked the peaceful herd grazing happily. He knew that happiness time was almost over...He knew he would have to fight the stallions of the other herds for the mares and grass. He had a worried expression on his face, but he tried to enjoy the remains of the season.

Fanfare followed Strider in and leaded IceFire into Golden Lake. She whispered in Strider's ear.

Ira walked into the clearing, lowering her head to meet the great stallion. She did not speak, only look at him, blue-black eyes sparkling..
oh how she wished to be accepted

Strider prudly trotted up to the glorious mare and circled her continuosly. He walked in front of her and looked at her front. He laid his ears back for a moment, but then pricked them again. "Yes, you have got the requirements to be in the herd, but, it will take a lot of proving before you will be as respected as Fanfare." He has stern eyes but tried to be understanding.

Star saw the herd and ran to srider and said my we join your herd

Strider was thinking...
"What breed are you? Only the purest of breeds may join my herd."

Ira stood there and nodded slowly.
'I am of great gratitude to you, and I shall not hesitate of what you ask of me,' she nickered, rubbing her head against the stallions broad neck.

"Hmm.... I accept, you may join the herd." Strider reared up and bolted towards the herd ignoring Ira.

Ira, excited and confused trotted after the stallion, to make aquiences with the rest of the herd.

Ira slowly walked up to the herd.
'hello,' she neighed softly.

Tedi, the young chesnut mare galloped in, she stopped when she saw the herd of horses

Ira looked around, she wondered who this greatly prized mare Fanfare was. She wanted to make sure she did not get onto the wrong side of such a powerful mare.

Tempest reared and asked "may I please join the herd"

strider i found a foal may i keep her she called cosi and said we have a foal

((her name's Dusty!! lol))
Dusty danced around the mares tall legs. She whinnied softly.

she nuzled the foal and licked her

Dusty shied away, but then trotted back to the mare. She rubbed against her long legs.

Dusty would you like to go cantering with me sje nuzzled the foal

Dusty yawned. 'not right now' she nickered, falling to sleep.

star said okay go to sleep then she nuzzled her foal

Strider saw the new foal. He reared up and galloped towards it . "Who is this?!" He screamed with anger. I do not recall having a foal with you mares. He nudged the foal and examined its abilities.

Star was scared but said Strider I adopted this foal her name is Dusty she has no mom or dad

Dusty woke uncomfortably frightened by the big stallion. She looked at him in despair. As he nudged her she got up and stood there, unsure of what to do in the presence of such a magnifecent stallion. She knew he could kill her and she looked to Star.
"I am Dusty, Star said she would look after me, I have never been accepted and have no parents," she said bravely. She backed up and stood closer to Star.

"DOn't YOU DARE HURT HER" STar Snorted
